Thousands of displaced Hindu families from Pakistan are trying to rebuild their lives in India—many of them in Jodhpur, Rajasthan—without basic shelter, security, or dignity. Most are widows, small children, or families with young daughters, living in makeshift huts or open fields under harsh conditions.
Hindu Samman Foundation is launching the Samman Niwas Project—an initiative to provide 50 permanent, pakka homes to the most vulnerable refugee families. Each home will stand on legally secured land, built to offer long-term safety, stability, and a fresh start.
